Salată de pepene roşu şi castraveţi

Salata pepene

Am aici două esenţe de vară într-o combinaţie mai puţin obişnuită.

Pepenele, castravetele şi fantastica lor poveste:

<<Nişte cubuleţe de castravete şi nişte cubuleţe de pepene verde, se întâlnesc în aceeaşi farfurie. Se cunosc din vedere. S-a mai întâmplat, uneori, ca lădiţa cu castraveţi să poposească în cămară lângă pepenele pântecos.

Castravetele (prietenos): „Bună ziua!”

Pepenele (cam nervos): „La fel!”

Castravetele (mirat): „Da’ nu mai eşti verde, cum te ştiam!”

Pepenele (mai nervos): „Ce te priveşte pe dumneata dacă sunt verde sau  nu! Pentru cultura matale, sunt verde la coajă şi roşu în rest. Părinţii tăi nu te-au învăţat nici atâta lucru despre noi. Al cui eşti tu?”

Castravetele (sfios şi temător): „Sunt din familia Cucurbitaceelor…”

Pepenele (dintr-o dată binedispus): „Ha-ha-ha! Păi de ce nu spui aşa? Vino-ncoa, neicuşorule, că suntem neamuri! Hai să te cinstesc c-un oţet!”

Castravetele (bucuros): „Dacă e aşa, dau şi eu o legătură de mentă ş-o lingură de chimion!”

Şi uite-aşa, după ce personajele principale şi-au dat mâna, au adormit fericite, găzduite de o lipioară.>>

Ingrediente şi cantităţi:

  • Pepene roşu (curăţat de seminţe) şi castraveţi (curăţaţi de coajă), în cantităţi egale;
  • mentă;
  • chimion;
  • câteva granule de sare (opţional);
  • foooarte puţin ulei, preferabil din seminţe de struguri (cu gust şi miros neutru, merge foarte bine şi cel de floarea-soarelui);
  • oţet balsamic.
